Want Shoulder-Feet Cape

I think it'll be totally neat to have a full shoulder to feet cape. Have it as an option or as a unlockable feature at least. I've always wanted to see my warrior in a full cape... i mean that little thing on a bad-ass warrior? please... might as well add little wings and harts while we're at it. Lol j/k =]

I think it would be great to get rid of the Guild Cape and make an option to make your own cape. I don't want to be in a Guild with a pink cape or something, but what if they're really good..? And if this would be like this, more options for capes would indeed be great !

This is called a cloak, and Rangers already have something similar in the Druids armor.

Besides... fighting could get hampered by having something THAT long (they would have to code that in, but you get the idea), and just wouldn't be practical in battle.

And I disagree with everyone having thier OWN cape... that defeats the purpose of them in the first place. In that case they should just be eliminated entirely, which I'm TOTALLY against...

Having the ability to /toggle a cape is one thing, but changing the capes this way is a bad idea, IMO.

i agree longer capes would look better especially on the warrior...the little ones as they are should just have little fluffy bunnies on them.

yes i would like a longer cape for my w/mo.the small one looks goofy.

I wish they had mods on armor that just changes it's look, so there would be more diversity. I want my ranger to have a cloak (not a cape), but I don't think EVERY ranger HAS TO have it, only those who want them. So maybe a mod item you can add to your armor (regardless of which armor you choose to use) will add the cloak.

yeah making armor customizible would be cool.maybe u could buy them from a armor guy for like 500g, it could be a good gold sink

I got the collectors armor from the desert and it looks alot like a cloak, much closer than the druids armor.

Longer capes?

If you play with different classes with your characters your sure to notice that the warrior cape is in-fact longer than then everyone elses.I do agree that longer capes for every class possible.

Maybe just get rid of everyone getting a cape, or they only wear it while if they're leader of a party with EVERYONE in that party is a guildie, and in arenas, but in guild battles and guild halls, your cape shows up.This would even reduce those guilds of 1 or 2 people.

Ohhh Noes! NOT CAPE TALK AGIAN! btw I think it would make loadingtimes slower if they had customizable armor like that I'd feel sorry for all the phone modem users...I remember I had one.

I personally like the tunics they had at one point. Maybe give each player for each character the choice of what style of Guild Emblement they want.
But wether current capes, longer capes,tunics,cloaks,armor emblems, etc. they should all be togglable with Guild Emblement being mandatorily on in PvP/GvG.

ONLY if I can take it off sometimes. I'd love a long cloak. I hate this little half cape we have. I feel like Gwen playing at being a real grown up sometimes.

You should have just made your characters shorter or walk around on your knees alot. ha.

I definetly think you should be able to toggle your cape on/off. I didn't want a cape and was so pissed off when I first got one. Can't even look at your character in all thier glory because half your body is covered by a cape. Wly do I need a cape anyways? I can't use it to fly or anything. It doesn't make me look like a super hero. Its just for guild recognition. They should just let you stamp the back of your armor or something with your guild emblem. That'd be a cool option.

Does anyone ever think about the game mechanics before talking? Have you ever wondered why Guild Wars is able to run so smooth with quick load times and minimal lag...Well thats because it doesn't have to render thousands of different textures, while I would love some more options to look different from every other warrior, you have to consider what making all these customization's will do to the game. such as lots more loading and lag lag lag, please think about the game before your personal wants.

I hardly think adding in extra items would make much different to the lag in the game. Its not like we asking for the world.

while all these new texture's might not affect an instanced mission or explore zone, consider how bad LA can get at prime time, or ToA when you get the HoH in any nation, add in a bunch of new textures, and it will not be pretty

Please, it will not make that much of a difference if you extend the length of a cape to your ankles. Have you ever played City of Heroes? They have a ton of costume options on there and it doesn't present a problem. The costume options on GW is minimal compared to most games. I think a few more will not pose a problem.

Anyways I don't think the graphical load is too much of a problem and it would be great to seen some new cape options like:

+ option of hoods (being able to toggle these on and off would be orgasmic, but even if they were in forever off mode i wouldn't mind)
+adjustable length - to the feet cape all the way to a mini-cape (for all girl guilds
+always nice to see some new symbols (like rinoa heartily's [FF8] double wing design)
