Should my comp. even be able to run GW?

Well, ive been playing for a while. with some lag... some from my 56k connection but mostly when i go into areas with lots of animation my computer bogs down...

Basically i am on:

700mhz Celeron
1gig ddr
64mb nvidia gforce 4
2 HD's 20 and a 40

yeah... the only reason why i think i have been able to play is the gig of ram :P

but, if anyone knows other ways to speed the game up. let me know. i have the settins at the minimal amount so graphics arnt great, but runs smoothly most of the times.... "Smoothy" to what im used to

You have more RAM than I do... my video card has more VRAM, dunno about the specs of it, but I think whats holding you back is your processor. I'm suprised you can play much with a less-than 1GHZ processor.

If I were you I wouldnt touch any settings, in the fears I would break it and be unable to play ^_^

lol, i can even turn some of the settings up and still be able to play... still a lil` more laggy of course. but it works. i have had my settings to the max... only time i really cant do anything is if i go into a main town :P so i just keep it at the lowest setting

yeah this game runs like peaches on my GF's 5 year old puter
