they NEED to add /favor as a new command...

it's frustrating everytime I want to find out the favor I have to go to a new city, so lame... what is stopping them from adding it?

that would be a cool idea

I like that thought, you should consider taking that to gaile

Or you could just wait a bit and watch for the "Xguild wins battle and keeps favor for Xcountry"... If you're wanting to go to FoW/UW... then you will be heading to the place that gives you a clue the minute you step foot in the temple.

Interesting idea, just don't see the "NEED"... The "geewhiz" factor is very high though...

I agree. i've been wanting this for awhile.

Sometimes you do need to see who has the favor. What if you log on or don't notice when you're one away from Korea taking the favor?

LOL, that's part of the fun! Running into ToA and grabbing 7 random people and getting in just under the cutoff... oh crap both monks are smiters and that W guy only speaks French.

To implement this would be really easy. Just have /favor echo the last HoH announcement. One string variable, woo. But we don't need it. I would love to see an HoH history of the last 10 battles, but again we don't need it.

Nonetheless what you want is so simple, you'll probably get it if they deem it worthy. But until then: Why not put a little effort into keeping track? This is for UW / FoW entry, right? Uhm... putting together a team can take 10 minutes. Going down even for a short run can take an hour. clearing either can take... A long time. So if you've got this much effort to put into GW, why not in checking yourself?

If you go to Tombs or ToA when you first logon, before you start even doing greets to your friends and guildies, you'll have a base value in your mind. In fact, if you're that upset about not knowing how about only logging out from ToA? Then you'll know the second you logon. Also, if you toggle off all your chat filters, the only thing left will be trades, drops/pickups, etc... and HoH announcements. There should always be at least one HoH battle announcement in the backscroll even if you're solo smitefarming for the phat lewt.

When you play PvE and you are waiting for your 'country' to get the favor it is very hard to watch out for the announcements. The announcements mix up with the "foo drops a bar which is reserved for baz" messages.

it is nearly impossible to know if you got the favor or not. so please add this command.

I think it'd be nice if it's implanted.

So let's say I just log onto the game, so I don't see who has won HoH or anything. I want to play in FoW or UW. I just type /favor to see if I can. Saves some time from having to go to ToA.

i've always wondered why this wasn't included in release...they already keep track of who has favor...all they'd have to do is send the variable to the chatscreen when ya did it. It'd take about a 1/4 of a line of code

/signed?

Great idea, I would be ecstatic (at least for a minute) if you guys implemented this.
"w00t so easy! To hell with this party which is dying before the battle even starts. I'll come back in an hour and find a better one after making a run or two."

I don't really see the point of this. If you are wanting to do something that is dependent on who has the favor, then you need to go to a place where it automatically tells you when you enter the zone, like it does when you enter ToA and the Tombs. If you aren't doing anything that involves favor, why is it important that you know RIGHT NOW who has it? Not an issue IMO.

Not exactly true, there are quests that require favor at least in Druid's Overlook and Sardelac.

Good idea, and should be easily implemented. Consider it /signed.

Here is the implementation:

string getFavor() {
return "Korea";
}

(sorry, couldn't resist)

You could go to the European servers where you will never be unsure as to whether we have favour or not....
