PC on a strange staff

I just got a max damage water staff:

Defensive Water Staff of Enchanting

Energy +10
Cold Dmg: 11-22 (req 10 water magic)
Improves Casting Speed (Chance: 9%)
Improves skill recharge using Blood Magic (chance 16%)
Armor +5
Enchantments last 20% longer


The problem is I don't see many water ele's, and I'm guessing water ele's who are also necros are even rarer. But the Armor +5 and Enchant +20% are both max right?

Yes Both are max. The 20% Enchantment Wrapping is worth a LOT....I have seen them go for as much as 60-80K recently.
The 20% enchantment staff wrapping, is the best upgrade in the game, I'd say

So do I sell the staff as is, or gamble trying to pull of the enchantment wrapping?

Salvage it. Although a 16-17% wrapping does almost the exact same thing do to the way the game rounds.

See, I think he means he will offer 4 ecto for your staff, then it is not a bad offer.

btw I have a very similar staff, but i decided to keep it and sell later as a staff if i need money. Monk item is slightly better than water ele.
