NEED HELP!!! W/Mo farming build

I know this topic is brought up more then it should but i am left with no choice. i have taken a look at some of the W/Mo farming builds and have been trying to design one that i can farm with. I havent been to successful. i have even tried to take some of the builds right off the forums yet, i still find no luck. i know the point is to try and get more health regen then dmg intake. I have tried yet i still seem to die. i am guessing this could be because i havent gotten full drok gear yet but, i am trying to farm so i have money to buy drok gear. my build is as follows:

ARMOR: Executioners Helm, Glad chest, Glad leggings (drok), Glad boots, Glad gauntlets (drok). i am using a focus item to up my energy instead of using a shield. should i use a shield instead? only probelm i have is i dont have any points in tactics as you will see.

Axe Mastery:10+1 (11)
Healing Prayers:10
Strength:10

I got this build from a thread started by uberrusty(dont want to take credit for something i didnt design). It works alright but i am still getting killed by lvl 17 stuff. i have tried switching mending out with "Live Vicariously" but, still no luck. can anyone give me any tips? what am i doing wrong? is it my armor? should i switch to swords? i am only as far as droks in the game so i am wondering if i should complete the game first. But doing that will be hard without droks armor. i just need to know what i need to do. If you need some more info about what i am doing please ask.

Ok, I had the same problem because I modified my skills.

First of all, I don't understand why would any non-runner build use mending? I mean it is a great skill, but there is a better enchantment called Live Vicariously. Why would you use it? It works very well with cyclone axe. For example, you are facing 5 minotaurs. WIth level 10 healing, every time you use cyclone axe, you receive 50 health back. And you should ALWAYS use cyclone axe whenever it is recharged. Getting 50 health back every 3 seconds is a lot better than +3 regen right?

Second, if you want to farm, you need to survive, so you need tactics. Ditch strength because you are not even usign a strength based skill. Get 12 tactics and use some of those stances (eg. gladiator's defense, shield stance, bonnetti's defense.) If you can always maintane 75% evade/block, you can farm 75% better. Cleave is a great skill, but gladiator's defense is better here because survival is more important than damage.

NOTE: Ok I just read your post more clearly and you said a lot of things didn't work out. Why is that? What axe r u using?

Anyways, another great skill you should carry with yourself if you are low on armor is "Watch yourself!" You can almost always have it activiated because it only takes 4 adrenaline.

Here is my template for farming drakes in gates of kryta

12 tactics (10 + 2) 1 helm, 1 rune
2 stregnth (1 + 1) 1 rune
12 axe (11 + 1) 1 rune
10 healing

Skills:
Sprint
Cyclone Axe
Dismember
Penetrating Attack
Gladiator's defense [E]
Healing Signet
Vigorous Spirit
Live Vicariously

You can switch an axe skill other than cyclone with watch yourself! or balthazar's spirit. I highly recommend getting a zealous axe hilt because it makes cyclone axe THAT much more useful.

I havent gotten gladiators defense yet. Im working on getting i just have to run dragons lair real quick. i have tried this with bonetti defense but no luck i still lose health to fast. i am thinking gladiators defense will make a bigger difference since i can use skills. and my dmg output isnt that great. i have a clean max chaos axe that i am trying to get a zealous haft for. i dont know where my problem lies but, i think it may be my armor. ill have to keep tweaking things and try and get some money for armor.

For starters, try farming those level 18 drakes in gates of kryta or sanctum cay. I started farming there and made my first fortune so I was able to buy better equipments. Once you get gladiator's defense, try that build I posted earlier, it should work well against drakes. Remember, it is not always about your equipments. When I first started farming drakes, I got killed frequently, but as I farmed more, I was more experienced in that place and gradually I stopped dying.

So what I'm trying to say is, start with my build and then you can tweak it to make it more effective for you.
