When I Pre-ordered Guild Wars at EB, the guy said that I could pick it up on the 27th. I have heard though that the release date is the 28th. Is the guy wrong? Thanks

You can play on the 27th and the 28th with only your beta pass key.
You will be shut out come the 29th and must buy the actual game.

the things you do on the early access (27th) with not be wiped.

I pre-ordered the actual game, not the pre-order. I did this to make sure that I would have a copy on the 27th. So can i play the actual game on the 27th, the day the guy said it would be in?

you need a preorder package to play the game early. in the preorder package there is an access code.
if you did not get a preorder package, i suggest that you go back and get it. otherwise, you will have to wait until you get the retail package, which should be on the 28th.
