near instant death

in pvp, i get shot w/ a green arrow. my health degenerates as quickly as it possibly can. i know this is very vague, but any idea as to what it is and how to slow it down and/or prevent it would be greatly appreciated.

use a skill that cures conditons or gives you + health arrows (such as Healing breeze)

Now go play PvE before venturing in to PvP

Sounds like an Apply Poison + Virulence headbutt to you that you got.

Probably Apply Poison + Hunter's Shot for bleed/poison degen combo, which would total 7 arrows of degen in one shot.

that sounds right.. even equipping a focus that gives me quick recov from poison does NOTHING (along w/ healing breeze)

You need a "Mend Ailment" or something like that to remove the effects of the poison. You might read up on the various skills for your class which is......????
