Using dye on monks ascetic armor?

Say i want it to be orange. If i apply a bottle of orange on the armor will it then turn orange?
Or do i first have to use dye remover?
Or is it like with those necro scars that it turns in the opposite color or something?

This armor is normal :P, red bottle will turn it red, orange will turn it orange. And if you want to overwrite a color, just put another color on it. You dont have to remove the color everytime.

If you put a red dye on already orange armor, it will turn the tatoos red. If you put a silver dye on red armor, it will turn it silver. The only way to blend the colors is to mix the dye before you put it on in the first place.
