Hey there,
I was wondering does anyone else have problems with the anti spam system. I have found it to be most frustrating at times. Its seems to have inherent flaws, which are contrary to its very function i.e. to prevent spam. That is to say on many occasions I have witnessed players spamming and a similar number of times I've been blocked for just speaking to other players. I'll type a message and then attempt to speak again and I get an excessive messaging notice appear. This is a little over zealous isn't it? Is this intentional? I can't imagine that it would be. Can something be done about this?
Cheers, Col.
Anti-spam woes!

I experienced the same thing last nite where I was trying to respond to someone in public chat and butchered a word so tried to resend -correcting the typo but it was suppressed.
Then I see a guy saying the same thing over n over, alternating the same sentence over n over with the only difference being 1 letter capitalized the 1st shout and not the 2nd.
I agree - very frustrating but I've only experienced this in pub/trade chat. I can send messages endlessly thru whisper/guild.

Yeah guild, team and whisper are fine. Its the public channels that are a problem. Something should really be done about this. Whats the point putting an anti-spam system in place if it doen't work and cause problems for those who aren't spamming. Its ridiculous.

Yes. I hate people who spam WTS in the all chat to begin with, but I hate them even more when I'm getting supressed for talking to someone and they're allowed to go on with their spamming. Thanks anti-spam.
What's worse is that it counts your surpressed message as something said, so you have to wait for however many seconds after it supresses you to send another message.

I've been left waiting for over 2 minutes and still no joy, just for talking.

I've only experienced the anti-spam once. I'm not sure exactly how it works... could someone enlighten me?
Then again, I almost never type 1 or 2 word sentence fragments either, so... *shrug*
