what are the beautiful items for some people says it has to do with gwen could somone tell me what they are for

They are for a quest in Pre-searing. Some time when you exit Ascalon you'll notice Prince Rurik talking to Captain Osric. Listen to the whole conversation. Osric will then have the quest for you.

i think the name of the quest is A gift for Althea. You will collect 3 items.

1. i think 1 is a gold pendant or a necklace (a barrel or box near the bandits camp)
2. pearl (near bridge)
3. a flower

Replace flower with Feather... and you don't actually have to collect all 3. There is more than one way to do that quest.

That quest is currently bugged for me.

You are supposed to get all 3 of the items. I remember when I first did the quest it would only complete when I had all 3 items. However now all you need is 1 item and just talk to him again after he gives you the "reject" speech.

I completed the quest multiple times with just the feather.

Since no one fully clarified the deal... go outside ascalon, and hang a right. Just outside you will see Rurik and Osric have a conversation. When they are done talking Rurik will walk off and Osric will have a quest. Grab the necklace from the chest on the hill closeby with the bandits. The peral is at the edge of the water inside a shell, which is close by quest where you lure the bees away. The feather is also near that area behind a house in a small fenced in yard. Take all 3 items back to Osric to finish the quest.

huh didn't know it was bugged i always gather the three items then talk to him... i figur if i am close to them before i get the quest why not right...

The quest is bugged.. You are supposed to get all 3 items for the quest to complete. However, as noted, you only need 1 of the items to complete the quest. As I posted above

I have submitted a bug report about this and I'd suggest that anyone else who does this quest and gets the quest completed quest after only getting 1 of the quest items.. submit a bug report yourself.

From a message they sent me they believe this quest is fixed. However, I have done this quest after the last patch and it was bugged for me. I told them this...

Try talking to him again
