Pets/NPC's

I noticed over the last weekend they seem to have infinite energy?! Some dog was attacking me so I kept ganking energy from him to use to heal my team, and it always gave me a full return. I was wondering if anyone's tested if they have infinite, or just a lot? And out of the blue I was jacking more energy from a warrior NPC in tombs, and it too seemed to always give a full return.

It looks like we have a mystery on our hands gang. Oh no it was old man smithers. That crazy old coot he thought it just might work. But he was wrong. Because he was not in Knasas any more withh his little dog too.

Probally. The AI that can be created at this point and time would not have the necessary skills to manage energy and thus be drained all the time. Or - remember, npc's only use one or two skills where we use many, thus their energy drain is not as steep as ours.
Food for Thought.

I'm not sure this is the right thread for this, but since it says "pets" I thought I'd put this here. If it's in the wrong place, please feel free to move it.
Have any other Rangers had a complaint from the tanks that the pets are in the way?
Both my usual tanks complained constently that the pets blocked them in so they couldn't attack or retreat. If they had the ability they both swore they would have killed my pet, so I started shooting at any monster not targeted by the tanks so the pets would go the other way.
If you've also had this complaint, how did you work around it?

I'm pretty sure all NPC's have infinite energy. I have used things from the mesmer's inspiration line on ghostly heroes, footmen, and so on without getting to the bottom of the barrel.
