If I had a 5:1 bow string, for example..

Obviously I'd get -1 regen. I'd also get 5 hit points every time I hit them.. However, do they lose an extra 5 hit points? Is it truely a 'steal', or is it a gain?

I did a search, but then found out I'd rather not sort through the 500 threads of "WTS Vampiric Golden Axe of Anal Intrusion".
