Why would you need lots of money anyway? Collectors items for weapons and a few plat for armor is all you need.

your not even at the beautiful yet expensive 15k per set yet... I've been playing a month, buying what I need and selling everything I found... I only got 22k in my bank. I do lots of solo farming/explorations.

you kill things and sort of salvage the cloth and scales and put them in the storage vault for times like thisor sell off 250 or 500 when the price goes up a bit

When I needed money for the Droknar's armor I just went back to the desert and did the missions with people until I had enough. Doing Elona's and Thirty River will get you tons of loot. I got tons of steel from expert salvage and sold them at 200g/ea in Droknar's and made the money pretty quickly.

There is no get rich quick schemes anymore. I suggest killing the highest level mob your character can kill with efficiency solo, and either salvage the drops or sell them. Remember to pick up EVERYTHING you find. Another thing I've found is if you ID an item first, you can usually sell it for a considerable amount of gold. It is 4 gold each time you use an ID kit, and sometimes my items increase in value by up to 20 gold.

To make money fast you find a good chest you can zone and run it like 500 times. And at end of every hour you should have 7K.

Just to know... whats the point of getting the 15k armor if it has same stats as the Droknar's Forge 1,5k armors?? I got my 1,5k set and I'm wondering about getting the 15k set, though dunno if it's worth it...
BTW i got my money selling superior runes, dyes... the nolany academy exit to Diessa Lowlands is where i found most of the bloack dyes I've slod... dunno if it is indeed a place where the drop is higher or only coincidence... My superior runes i got doing Thirsty River mission at the desert.. it's a tough mission but i already got superior fire, earth, air and energy storage there... tons of money... i really wished the prices hadn't been reset though... I had 4 minor fire on storage waiting price to go up and sell to rune trader but now they not worth even 2k...

Get rid of those minor fire. Hell, put it on youre armor just for fun. They will never be worth anything, no offense.

Go out of the first town in the desert(can`t recall thae name) and take both monks. Go slow and kill everything till you get to the teleporter. Go across. Now you can run past the Minataurs or fight them and go down through the green valley that`s there. There are a couple of chests and a barrel or 2 through there. They don`t give good stuff but it`s good enough to sell and usually you can make about 1 platnium per run.
Or head out of Druids Overlook by yourself. Go South and 2 devourers will spawn. Fight or flight, I play a warrior so I usually sprint. Stop between the devs and the scarabs/spiders at the bottom of the hill. I wait till sprint recharges then sprint and mend past these as they use cripple. Go up the next hiil keeping to the left past 2 more devs. Fight or flight. At the top on a level spot is a chest and a barrel. The barrel usually give between 50 and 150 gold and the chest between 1-3 items. Not the best but they sell and it`s a short 3-5 minute run. So in about 30 minutes you can have 800 to 1 plat.

I'd tell you my solo spots, but, if I did A-Net would nerf them, so I can't. But, there's other things out there with better income than griffons and trolls I can assure you that.

I don't care about making money "fast", but I get what I need by solo hunting stuff that my warrior can kill with ease - usually salvaging resources to sell from items as I go depending on where/what I'm fighting. If I'm feeling more sociable, I take my monk to different missions (mainly Kryta and above) and offer to help. I get into groups pretty quick with my monk - the group gets their mission done, and I get to pick up stuff off the ground that drops for me as well as have some fun and meet people. I've gotten superior healing, superior vigor, as well as some major and superior elementalist runes this way recently.

start doing alot of good Fissure of Woe run or Underworld run... where you actually try to get as far as possible... then sell those obsidian shard and ectoplasm to rare material trader or to people.

sell the obsidian!!!!!!!! NOOO, lol..gotta save that. but doin FoW missions is a good idea.once you get past the forge, you can use the forgemaster to sell all the equipment you find. also max def. shadow shields and chaos axes are plentiful and sell for over 1k to people on the "top side".

money money money u can get`a lot of them for just going to missions and get many items then salvage them and keep the items it give u then go at material trader and sell them 10 each time for many gold also u can go at FOW and get much money there from items

You can get money fast like those "Millionaires" did if you're really lazy, by buying gold like 100k for $7 from some MMOPRG vault site (cheaters way out). It's better to farm because you can find rare items and selling them for a lot of gold/platinums.

normally i salvage alot of white(plain) weapons/foci
materials do sell pretty fast and well imho
a stack of iron,wood (250 pieces a stack) sells for 2500g easily
it nothing fantastic but its fast, easy $ and sells much faster than tat *uber godsword u have on hand which u are trying to sell for a zillion gold but noone is willing to pay for it
the bulk of the gold i made was by selling alot of wood,iron
there no real need to farm this way as u WILL get it along the way
i made like 500k overtime jus selling materials and the ocasional good item that happend to drop
bascially dun waste $ buying stuff u dun really need and u will get there
GW is pretty forgiving since u dun need to buy stuff like health packs,heal stims,mana packs
theres no real *get rich scheme(*inset: pot of gold) jus alittle saving and proper planning
well i used to earn 30-40k a day jus farming but theres no real purpose and its very boring
