I'll have to give arena another shot - I quit playing a few weeks ago because of all the leaving and lame behavior.
I find GvG to be by far the most cordial PvP atmosphere in the game, and hence my favorite. I see a lot of laughing, yawning victors and l33t speak in Tombs, but we've gone up against a couple of other guilds in GvG that have been hilarious, cracking jokes and making small talk regardless of who is kicking the other's butt.
I really respect and admire a team that wins or loses with grace, dignity and a bit of humor, never losing respect for their opponents. It makes the game a million times better. If you belong to such a guild and play in such a manner: thank you.
Maturity returning to the Arenas?

Guild Wars may be a tad slowed PvP than adolescents generally prefer, which could actually account for this. Of course, that just means some people are stopping playing, which is bad.
My mind actually boggles a bit at the thought of people growing up today, who have always had a computer in their house. I remember the first computer we had in our house, an Apple IIc. I remember the first microwave we got (big enough to hold a 25 pound turkey, because microwave ovens were going to replace normal ovens, of course).
People who can't remember not having microwaves -- weird.
At the same time, I've always had television and radio. Yet there plenty of people alive today who haven't.
Strange world.
A bit more on topic, I have noticed a slight increase in friendliness in the Arenas, where I usually play because I don't (really) have a guild.
