spider in underworld

is there any difference between hearty black widow and elder black widow?
I heard some people saying elder black widow is a better spider

Hearty and Elder are just tags that go with the animals level.

A Hearty <whatever> is around 15-16'ish, while an Elder <whatever> is 20. You get these on your pets too if you don't rename them.

Of course an Elder is going to be better because it has a higher level.

how can u get a lvl 16 spider when uw spiders start at 20?

they might be somewhere else then only the underworld

I hear that Hearty Spider means that your pet is higher in defence but weaker in offence, Elder is balanced of both, while Dire means the pet is better in offence but weaker in defence.

Though there are two different stages of them getting such kind of title, level 11 and 15 I think.

There is a guide on this from if I remember correctly.

In Pre Searing you can't get any spiders (unfortunatly).
The ones with the green names only means that they are passive towards you and turn red only if you attack them first.

The only place you can charm a spider is in the UW.

hearty has higher health, elder has normal health and( + damage but that's debatable)

Dire: indicates an increase in the pet's damage capability... small
Hearty: indicates an increase in the pet's health...
Elder: indicates the average of the two... mid health, mid damage. I.E. the base level 20 black widow.

Black widows are all level 20 in the Underworld. You can find them after each Reaper quest is completed. If you don't get what you like, try try again. Good hunting.

Once you clear the town in the area of D the spider will appear and be able to get charmed.. be carful not to kill it...
