I was stupid and thought id want a ranger char, so i bought from eb. Now i like the War/Monk combo. But i like Eb soo much and they are so helpful that im going to continue to buy from them. Anet shoud let us sell/trade out special items.

There will be much better items that you can get in-game. The items you get based on where you buy it from are just good for early on. You will not be using them @ level 20 in PvP from what I hear.

my local gameSTOP store will have theirs in on wensday the 27th, and i can pick it up then.

I dont know when to get mine because on the guild wars site i looked and it said it would be available on the 28th but thats in the US and i live in Canada how do i know when in Canada?

I got it through a store, but have already booked the day when I get it on my calender.

I think the best way to know when it comes in Canada would be to call the place you ordered it.
Also the Futureshop one being $39.99 instead of $49.99 is because they get a postal discount(such as you buy full price then send proof of purchase by mail and recieve $10 discount). Like 90% of other discounts they have -_-'

And no the items are not for beta only, they are for every character you make on an account that has the pre-ordered games key, not the beta key entered in.


So they are for release not beta. And us EB orders should be able to use our bows on the 27th.

EB states it has been shipped and gave me a tracking number. I had overnight shipping and it states I will be getting it TODAY!!! and that it was shipped on Friday. Am I the only one who got this? Did EB make some kind of mistake? Or is it really getting here today. I guess I will find out when I get home from work.

There is a bright side. You get to use the Ithas bow on wednesday. And you get to stare at the manual all today and tomarrow.

Still no sign of them shipping out mine from Gamestop. They did have one day shipping, but I'm hoping they don't wait two weeks to begin that one day process! I suppose I'll have to keep checking every hour or so now, to see if they ship today.

Bought my CE from EB Canada, thing cost me $103.49 (after taxes). My gf has a pre-order on my account as well, but I told her I'm cancelling it and going to Future Shop on release, and stealing her shirt

i hate UPS tracking. They never update it.

I haven't been in any online game releases where the servers aren't up the same day the game hits there customers hands. So, I have no reason to believe that the servers won't be up sometime today.

Got also an email from 4u2play (Germany) ... the hot package ... is on it's way Should get it tomorrow or Wed morning.... *backflip*

Just got mine about an hour ago ,now i just need to wait till they let us play.

Mine just came in bout 15 min ago being 9:30AM cst., won't let me in to play though =P
