In your opinion, whats a better upgrade, sundering 10/10, or vampiric 5:1?

Depends on the weapon; if it was a sword or axe, I'd go with vampiric. If it's a bow or hammer, sundering for sure.

i prefer vampiric because it ignores the armor

I feel vampiric is the better upgrade, the vampiric damage is allways going to be there, while sundering only hits 10% of the time. Also, Vampiric damage boost is equal on all targets, while a sundering upgrade changes effectiveness depending on the "squishiness" of targets... a Sundering damage boost will have a greater effect when you're smashing warriors, and less noticable damage when you're hitting soft fleshy mesmers. I'd go with Vampiric, myself.

I have made many test on this. The conclusion is: Sundering only works better to high armored foes (100AL). Then Vampiric deals more damage per second in all other cases.

Sundering still sucks at 20/20.

Go vamp.

~Edit-Unless you are selling...God bless the uninformed.

~Edit2-No wonder the question was so silly. I didn't even look at the date.

And, sadly enough, Sundering is less effective against higher armored targets, not less. The most recent discussion is here:

Vamp or Sundering, which is more dmg in the long run?

Closed.
