Armour piercing?

Now this is something I'd never heard of. Does anyone know which bows have armour piercing and how much? Are there any other armour piercing weapons?

The Shadow/Recurve/Ivory (I think, not sure on Ivory) line has it - not really worthwhile as far as damage improvements go with their aweful refire. Yes, I bothered to test.

Its Shadow/Horn/Ivory. See the missile props guide here on guru. (These bows have 10% inbuilt armor penetration)

I don't know if the 10% armor penetration is worth it due to the slower fire rate compared to shortbows/halfmoons. Has anyone done DPS calculations on that, comparing say, firing regularly and under tiger's fury, the average DPS between shortbows and hornbows?

That little bit of information makes me like my shadow bow even better, since it's max dmg and has dmg+10% while health is above 50%

a propos longbow...
2 versions exist:
there is the flatbowish crappy longbow where you seem to use 2 wood planks to shoot your arrows and then there is this beautifully crafted, feathered longbow.... which deserves the name longbow (to be found in the desert mostly).
regarding the armor penetration of the other's - it's no real 10% penetation... against its a chance to get 10% penetration (like the sundering string)

anyone done some average dps testing? cause i barely use my ivory and my shadow due to the ugly firing rate

do armor penetration percentages stack? planning on adding sundering bowstring 10/6 to shadow bow, currently icey +1mks 11%.

do dmg percentages stack? shadow bow is +12% while health > 50%, customizing adds 20%, so total is dmg+32%?

The Flatbow is a great weapon, and my choice of the bows out there. It has a long arc time, but if you are running arrow speed-boosts you don't even notice it. It has the range of the longbow and the speed of a shortbow. It's unfortunately the ugliest weapon on the planet, but I like it for its functionality.
