More Names on map
Devts-Waver
I've noticed that whenever I am trying to help someone by telling them where to go, it is always difficult because they don't know the names of locations (not towns). What I mean by locations are the actual areas you explore, not outposts or towns. I like how we have a map on this site that not only shows the locations of towns and outposts, but also all of the explorable areas. However, I find it annoying to have to always go to this site and look up the name of an area i'm trying to find. So why can't we have the explorable areas that we have been to labled on our maps? Please post your opinions in a mature matter.

I find it hard as well when someone gives me directions "Oh go through ice forest to get there." and I have no idea where ice forest was at the time. Same works for when I am trying to give directions. I say each area should say what it is after you have gone through it. Just a little text somewhere so as to not clutter the map when your trying to look for something on it.

In the future for first time GW purchasers and for those of us who purchase expansions, a full world map with all areas labeled on it should be included. One shouldn't HAVE to look it up either on the 'net or buy the Prima guide just to get where you need to go.
Of course...it sort of negates the idea of "explorable" areas.

My bad, actually. I misread the OP as meaning that names should be on the areas BEFORE they are explored. If the names of the EAs come on only AFTER they have been accessed the first time, I am all for it!

would be very helpful when trying to navigate or give directions to others.

Excellent idea. I hate when they refer in the game on quests to areas and I have no idea what they are talking about until I come back here and look at the map.

but only on areas that you've actually already been too. If you haven't BEEN there yet... how could you know or learn the name of it?
