Lv 14 Ranger-Mesmer

Hi people. I'm new to this game. I startet last Wednesday and I like the game allot. I just don't know how to continue to be effective in battle and succesfull ingame.

I have questions like:

-How should I spend my attribute points.
-What items to salvage, and wich not.
-Should I buy better armor/weapon

My Ranger-Mesmer is now level 14. I will post a complete list of what i've got on attribute points, skills and armors and weapons.



Lv :14 Ranger-Mesmer

Attribute Points:

-Marksmanship: 8, but modified to 9 using Archer's Mask.
-Domination Magic: 8
-Expertise: 4
-Left 1 Attribute point left to spend.

Weapon:

Longbow: Piercing Damage 14-27

Armor: The complete Fur-Lined set wich gives 40 armor per piece, furthermore I use Archer's mask wich gives +1 marksmanship.

Skills wich I use:

Ranger Skills: Power Shot, Hunter's Shot, Penetrating Attack, Comfort Animal and Charm Animal.
Mesmer Skills: Empathy and Chaos Storm.

Money: I have 5,4K. Selling items would probably end me up with about 7~8k.

So does anyone have any tips on how I could/should improve my character?
I'm a quick learner, just need some beginning help :P.

for lvl 14 id suggest removing all mesmer skills and attributes and placing the remainders in wilderness survival, u will then have 2 slots free, put ignite arrows and tigers fury in them, if u ahve them of course.
i wouldnt suggest using a second pro for rangers just yet, its not worth it
