you will need more ram

some people have done ok at low settings with that card but.

and i would love to know how you got that rare crossbreed chip from intel/amc

also the MX line is as low as they come for a budget card

maybe someone has a definite answer on a GF2 MX

256MB on a Windows XP system results in unplayable GuildWars (my own experience), get at least 384MB or rather 512MB RAM. The game was so choppy when Windows swapped ... yuck

The lowest I tried was a GeForce 4 MX (integrated VGA) and it ran quite well. So the game may be playable in 640x480 on the GeForce 2 MX.

Mine ran fine 1024*768
medium terrain and texture, lowest for everything else
Windows ME
512 RAM
1.4GHz

Now I have a radeon 9250 256MB and it crashes....

On the Millenium Edition, even 512 MB RAM could be enough, but I would hate to keep such an old machine exposed to the internet secure ...

it wont work at all. i went and downloaded the client at guildwars, told me the card was not compatible. i just to have the same card u did, and i replaced it with a 256 meg card. i have the same amount of ram as u, hopign it will run it. your processor should be decent enough too.

Actually, it does work. I was using it until I fried it. You just won't be able to see the 'glow' Bosses emit though as it does not support it. It's not a big deal anyways

I have practically the same specs as Cojiro Ssenkrah, only I'm running Windows XP

Yeah you just say 'continue' and it works anyway, mine was an MX 400 64 MB.

Worked out that the PSU didn't proide enough power for the new graphics card, so I unplugged most USB peripherals and took the modem out and left the case open for good measure and now it hasn't crashed once!

Even though one of the capacitors on the motherboard is leaking.... lol
I'm sure it'll be fine, the goo which came out has set
