here's my build:

Class: Necromancer / doesnt matter

Attributes: (cost) '+' indicates Rune attributes
Soul Reaping: 12 (97)
Death Magic: 12+2 (97)

Total attribute points used: 194/200

Skills: [Attribute] (Energy, Cast Time, Recharge TIme)

1) Deathly Swarm [Death Magic] (10,3,3) Spell: Deathly Swarm flies out slowly and strikes for 76 cold damage (before armor) on up to three targets.

2) Verata's Gaze [Death Magic] (5,1,5) Spell: If target hostile animated undead has a master, its bond to its master is broken, making it hostile to all other creatures. If it had no master, you become its master. (50% failure chance with Death Magic attribute of 4 or less)

3) Malign Intervention [Death Magic] (10,1,20) Hex: For 19 seconds, target foe receives 20% less benefit from healing. If target foe dies while hexed with Malign Intervention a level 16 masterless Bone Horror is summoned.

4) Verata's Sacrifice [Death Magic] (10,2,30) Spell: Sacrifice 15% max health. For 20 seconds, all undead allies gain 10 health regeneration. All conditions are removed from those allies and transferred to you.

5) Taste of Death [Death Magic] (5,0,0) Spell: Steal 380 health from target animated undead ally.

6) Infuse Condition [Death Magic] (10,1,60) Enchantment: For the next 57 seconds, whenever you receive a condition, that condition is transferred to your closest minion instead.

7) Blood of the Master [Death Magic] (10,1,5) Spell: Sacrifice 10% max health. All adjacent undead allies are healed for 110.

8) Animate Bone Horror [Death Magic] (15,3,5) Spell: Exploit nearest corpse to animate a level 16 Bone Horror.

use infuse condition nad then verata's sacrifice to give minion +10 health regeneration and not getting any conditions...

use malign intervention when someone is healed alot or is about to die and then use verata's gaze to control the minion.

other than that it's all basic stuff...
use animate bone horror to animate bone horrors
and taste of death when you have little health left.

No Idea

Maybe I'm stupid, but isn't that a waste of skill points for the remainder?

take out taste of death for another minion summon spell, it contradicts with blood of the master

In your mind!

i have tried a build similar to this and found that is is ok for PVE but horrible for PVP for lack of fresh corpses. And that is a big problem.

Some of your skill choices look forced, like you're trying really hard to make this a one line build, and there's just no reason for it. In particular Verata's Gaze is just plain awful, and Infuse Condition just isn't going to do enough to matter.

Pick a secondary you like and grab a couple skills that augment your minion strategy - I'm personally partial to Monk, but Elementalist is reasonably solid as well. Soul Reaping starts to max out in the 8-10 range, so you can drop that a bit to feed any secondary attribute.

Freyas has a pretty nice minion build up in the sticky.

This is sort of pointless but i agree with lhurgrokoyv cuz taste of death works good when u have death nova so u can put death nova on 1 then heal ur self with him for an instant bomb

but if it's alone taste of death kinda sucks if u have an army fighting for u
