HELP (plz look)

ok i got a email from ArenaNET asking me to click on some link to verify my email address and account........................what should i do?

I'd ignore it. Sounds like a scam.

I strongly suggest you don't post your email account. Edit it quick, or hope a mod does it for you ...

Looks like the standard Anet welcome email. I got that as well. Just make sure you don't have to type your email and password in any site, just when you run GW.

Lol.... It means you signed up an account with that Email. Thats why it told you it was sending you a comformation email when you made said account....

The links just takes you to their privacy screen and to their main site. It's safe to click those. Pretty much if the site resides on guildwars.com, then it is Anet's, and even then, they will never ask you to put in your email and password in their site.

Good rule of thumb: Whenever you have to log in ANY online account, make sure the web address is correct and that your logging in the proper server.

so does it matter if i click it or not? will i b able to still play?

Ignore the e-mail altogether. It will have no bearings on the functionality of your Guild Wars account.

For clarity: The e-mail is NOT from ArenaNet. Therefore, being that its not valid, why are you worrying?

i got exactly the sam e-mail its from a-net i clicked the link nothing happened well it said e-mail was expired but whatever
