Moving from SWG to GW

Quick Intro I quit SWG in Feburary and have been playing GW beta and loving it. PVP in SWG used to be good till they ruined it and from what I see here I think PvP will be fun for all win or lose.

I currently am doing a Elementalist / Mesmer build.

I came from the Radiant Server in SWG now planning on making GW my home if any former SWG players out there give a shout out.

I used to play SWG, really good game i thought. I'd probably still be playing it if it didn't have a monthly fee. But it had downsides to it, at least 3 really big downsides, and GW, only has one in my eyes. There's just not enough character custimazation!

I am a former SWG player from way back when it just came out. They ruined the game with holocrons and ridable pets i think. I was on Flurry server. Have yet to play GW. SWG was the BEST game right at the beginning, super fun! but then it all went down hill from there. If you didnt have like 1 certain build in SWG you sucked or one certain set or armor etc. But killing rebels was fun (other players) my favorite was town vs town battles Bestine Vs Anchorhead or sumin like that.

heh... i played that game all last summer.... i was on the Eclipse server....

i was a Combat Med / Rifleman... i owned in pvp until they nerfed em' lol

anyways it was a fun game... and yes.. i too would probably still play if there was no monthly... but oh well.. not all games are as kool as GW

moving is hard because you lose your friends and your house but you do get free ice cream on wednesday beacuse your tonsils fell out. FIRE FIRE FIRE... excuse me if all else fails eat 2 and one half rocks.

Welcome to Guild Wars. And El/Mes is a great build.

Yep, my main build will be a Ele/Mes. I found that these two classes really compliment eachother. You could go either way skill wise because Energy Storage is a bit more useful than Fast Casting at this point and time. I cant wait to play some people in PVP to realise that I have no elementalist magic and I'm running illusion and domination.

I was in SWG since launch I played Doc/Cm and had 3 accounts by the time I left 1 being a Jedi, Jedi ruined that game as well as the devs not listening to what the players wanted.

I love PvP, to be exact I love Team PvP where all works as a team and not the leet 1337 whatever talk.

I also enjoy PvE espicially a challange.

Me and my friend (Who never played SWG) are hoping to form a team where the guild itself is out for helping each of there members, and not for themselves. So hopefully we will earn the Respect of our fellow players.

Right now the guild we created is Sexy (thats the tag lol) and if we discover a guild that is established around our playstyle im sure we will join, providing that our guild is still just us lol.

I am so glad I preordered and played the beta, this is a well designed game IMHO.

I was a Beta phase 2 through 4 tester for Star Wars Galaxies. I quit playing the game about 3 months after release because I couldn't kill a stormtrooper by myself at the level cap. Gay.

LOL closed my SWG account couple days back. Very excited to play GW and hope to see ya all around
