Separate chat windows option

I find it hard to read what people are saying to me if I don't have trade chat turned off. I think the big problem is most traders know this so they spam in regular chat instead. Having at least a separate chat window for trade might help ease this issue. Besides, it's just hard to keep up whispers, trades, guild, and regular chat all in the same window!

How would that do anything but make more traders want to spam in general chat?

I would figure that most users turn off trade chat because it's too hard keep up with everything else. If trade chat was in a separate window i'd probley have it on all the time. I don't see how this idea would increase spaming in regular chat.
