1 on 1 arena

i think they should have a 1 on 1 arena where u can choose who u fite so i could kick my m8's ass!!!

Random 1 on 1 arena (accessible from the Amnoon Oasis, for example) and selective 1 on 1 for members of a Guild only (so you can "kick your m8's ass") would be the way to go.

I think this is the biggest part of Guild Wars that is lacking: the absense of 1 vs 1 and the absence of larger battles.

1 vs 1s would be an excellent idea, but you wouldn't see many people there besides Pallys...

Smiter monks could so totally kick my ass (being a pally myself).

And a backfiring mesmer could so totally kick a smiter monk's ass.

And I could so totally kick a backfiring mesmer's ass.


Yup, I see a lot of battles ending before any action has even taken place.

And yes, though I don't have any experience with necros and eles, I don't think it'd be a very popular class to play in 1 on 1. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Posting in this forum is (one of) the official way(s) of transmitting suggestions to the Guild Wars dev team.

Why else do you think we'd bother posting here in the first place?

i want a 1v1 arena, a place where you can CHOOSE who you are fighting in 1v1 or 4v4 or even 8v8. The only problem with 1v1s and even LARGER battles is you can get to the point where there is 2 teams of 15 or so, if thats what u mean by LARGER, and the fights would be too unbalanced. you could have 5 monks and 10 spikers. It just wouldnt be fair or fun. Also another issue with larger battles is enormous lag, it would be tough to control with 30 people with different pings runnin around.

1v1 would be cool
more than 8v8 would be tough to make fair.

o i never got to why 1v1s wouldnt be fair.

a Fragility mesmer would pwn too hard core.
