faction??

well ive been seein these "priests of balthazar" for a while now and it seems they offer some pretty good stuff , now im wondering what these faction thingy-majigy-things are. and how do get them , i think it has something to do with the pvp mode but is there something you have to do to get them???

Yes- you get faction from winning and killing enemies in PvP. You can then trade in that faction to unlock the things from the Priests of Balthazar. However, all that you do is unlock the rune/upgrade/skill for PvP characters- you can't use them with your RP characters at all.
