Hey i'm just saying what the age command says. Obviously the 2 months is inaccurate.

460 hours and 36 minutes in 56 days... O.o

30 hours past 3 days

756 logged hours in three months - but it could have been more ^^
studies, working on the baltic sea for some weeks to be able to continue studying - i was playing insanely much in the first month... 2nd was dedicated to university... and 3rd had to be shared with my work...
what can i say? i love tyria ^^

the crazy times were during beta: you knew you only have this one weekend, then you have to wait another month - so go and use that time...
the whole weekend (friday 9am -> monday 9am) was reserved for tyria: buying enough food and drinks for hte days, 4 hours of sleep between saturday and sunday to be able to make it till monday morning... and a short break after 36hours of playing to relax the wrists.

Heard of Everquest? For millions of people, Everquest is ALL the life they had for years. People forgot their real identities for their virtual one. Except eating and sleeping, they didnt have anything else to do in their real life. They LIVED their Virtual Life.
Ofcourse GW isnt that type of game where you can LIVE a virtual life, but its good fun nevertheless. And its the individual's own opinion about how he lives his life that matters

The time I posted was basically full on GW. I don't sit and afk in-game. If I'm logged in then I'm doing something - whether it be doing a mission, quest, exploring, etc. I could easily enough afk for hours on end, but I see no point in that - I admit I do alt-tab out of the game now and again, but generlaly if I'm going to browse sites and such I'll log out.

But I do agree that looking at pure hours logged on doesn't lead to great comparison - because how many of those hours was just afk'ing while they went and didn't something else? Like for me, my hours aren't that high.. but thats because I don't afk in the game (apart from coffee and/or loo breaks... heh).

Maybe make a suggestion in the suggestions board to expand on the /age command? I doubt it'll be high on any priority list.. but if enough people show and interest or the idea is presented well enough, then maybe someday down the future it will get implemented. They have already expanded the /age command to show both complete hours played and hours played on that particular character...

*shrugs* Some might see it that way, some might see it as a fun way to share the amount of time they have spent logged into GW. But since I'm not a board Mod.. I couldn't say whether this thread is just pointless spam... but personsally I've been interested in seeing how many hours other people have been logged on..

Now just wish I could see how much time was spent doing different things (like doing missions, exploring, afk, etc)...

All I will say is - people view different things differently as you quite rightly appear to realize. Just because you view something as aweful drivel doesn't mean that other people view it as aweful drivel. Two sides to every coin.

I respect your view and I can understand where you are comming from, but on the same token I'd ask that you respect my view and understand where I am comming from as well. In the end, if these things are deemed drivel then I will respect that decision.

when it's all over...you and I and everyone else here ends up in the same place...life IS wasting time. Who are you to be ostentatious enough to presume to understand the meaning or purpose of life so completely that you can tell others what they "should" be doing. I'm 14 years old and it's sumer...I can't be doing something every time of the day, so when I am at home alone, and my parents are at work this is all I have to do, it doesn't mean that I have no life or I am wasting it, I enjoy doing this, and it is not a waste for me.

I have around 400 hours in 3 months, I have a girlfriend, I just graduated from Highschool, I'm working full time, and I'm getting ready to go to college, so how much more of a life can I have?

276 hours and 31 minutes over the past 3 months. I probably will have UAS at 350 hours?

Truthfully? About 1/5 of the time is afk. I was really hard core into playing PvE GW for a while. Tho in the last two weeks I havent been playing as much. Not nearly as much. I played, played, played, played, played, played, played, played, played, played & then just kinda suddenly stopped playing as much.

i have about 1483 hours and 22 mins over the past 3 months (i never turned it off) maybe thats why hehe

wow, i have 480 hours and i consider myself having no life, i would play more but i get bored because its near impossible to find good pugs in tombs unless you are rank 6, i am rank 4 atm.

231 hours and 44 mins and I started playing about a week after it went retail. 3 ascended characters, one near lvl20 in the desert, and I still haven't finished the last mission yet :P

Unlock All Skills. It means that I'd have leveled *sigh* 3-4 characters in PvE to give myself the most versatility in builds.

463 hours since it released. (collecting Unemployment) If I were working I would not play this game at all most likely. this game requires time, lots of it. It just so happens I have quite a bit of extra time on my hands these days. and 105 degree temps keep me inside my Air conditioned house. <looks at thermo> ohhh its 70 degrees in here "ahhhh"

Well, as far as the whole 'don't understand why you people don't do something besides sit in front of a pc screen argument'- I'm a college student, and all the 'poor college student' generalizations apply to me. Turns out that entertaining myself with a pc game (rather than attending concerts, spending time in expensive coffee shops, or or leisure activites) is much cheaper, even with those $15 a month ones (played galaxies for close to two years)

For most of the people like me, 'no life' is a far cry from the truth. A lot of the reason I play these games is the social aspect, with many friends of mine persisting across different games, and I keep in touch with some out of town friends through games, instant messaging and email clients. Hell, I've been trying to get my girlfriend to play different games so I can spend more time with her without driving all over the place (gasoline is expensive these days!)

I have a simple quesion regarding game play age. How do I tell the TOTAL amount, or can I. As it is know it only tells me the last 2 mos(I know for everyone else it seems to tell them 3 mos). I have asked people in game, and discovered that mine was telling me my last 2 mos, and tellinf other there last 3. Ive been playing since December 25 so could that have something with the 2 mos showing, seen as I have only been playing for about 3 mos ? In closing is there any way to tell the total of all my time ? Thx.
