question about Ox animals @ pre-sear snowy area.

i just remembered i saw those Ox animals @ the snowy area of pre-sear. (near the female elemental trainer.)
anyone else have any speculations on their use @ full release?
or are they already involved in a quest that i just havent done?
anyone?

it would be nice if they were charmable, now theres a tank..
again. they are covered in fur coats w/ huge curling horns. and trapped in their own lil island surrounded by icy water.
