I've been hearing some rather conflicting views about whether or not there is a bonus within the mission at the Gate of Kryta. Several players were very insistant that there wasn't (which surely would make it the only one other than Dragon's Lair to not have a bonus?). When i played the game first time around, i rushed through the missions without bothering with bonuses, and usually took henchmen rather than do the mission within a group. Now that i'm doing the game again with my new Me/E character, i'm trying to amass XP by making sure i do both the mission and bonus each time. Can anyone shed some light on whether there is a bonus here, and if so, what is it?
Thanks...
Bonus in Gate of Kryta Mission?

Get Oink the pig to the left at the first farm house 20 yds into the mission, right before or at where first grp is engaged.
Take Oink to boy in outpost before you enter the beach area.
After Boy gets Oink talk to his father right next to him.
Father will tell you to retrieve book.
Go out other side, towards Drakes.
Fight down waterway, under bridge all the way to the end.
There will be a shipwreck with an underwater chest.
Open chest, book pops out.
Upon picking up book, spectres will spawn in grps of 3.
Bring book back to father.
Walah.

^ What he said, perhaps exchanging walah with voila
.
Also, before any of your party picks up that book, make sure they're ready. The smoke phantom thingies that appear may overwhelm an unprepared lower-level group. They use pretty powerful lightning attacks, and they're all level... 17, I think it was. If you're all prepared and positioned before anyone picks up the book it should be a doddle though.
Also, there are three groups of three phantoms, but they don't all appear in the same place, one group after the next. Each group will spawn in a different area as you make your way back. So also make sure everyone is ready before you start to move on to take the book back.
And finally, I believe that Oink the pig is essentially invulnerable, so don't worry yourselves too much with his safety while you have him. He can tank like... well, a tank.

The Dragon's Lair has a bonus too.

All co-op missions have a bonus; some require going out of the way to access them.
Holy Arch
dragons lair does have a bonus and so does kryta. Dragons lair bonus is kill glint at the end

Fight down waterway, under bridge all the way to the end. Couple of corrections. You give Oink to the father. If you go to the kid he says, my father says don't talk to strangers or something like that.
A much easier way is after you go out the door, there is almost an immediate left, follow that to the the chest by the sunken ship. After you pick up the book, you get attacked by those ghost things. Then take the book back the same way you came.

You don't really have to give Oink to anyone at first. Just find the book, then talk to the father, then give the son the pig.
Mr. Matt
That's a pretty round-about way of doing things though. Seeing as Oink is right by where you start, and apparently can't die, what's the use in leaving it behind, going all the way through to the book, then going all the way back for the pig? Unless you're suggesting you keep the pig as an extra pair of... erm... legs, which could be an interesting idea.

I think he is saying take Oink with you to get the Book since he is a handy little invulnerable tank.

Interesting, i've never even tried that. How would you go about even attacking Glint?

Dragon's don't like you touching their eggs.

I know this is old news but I just did this mission with my monk and thought this would help others:
