Why aren't we, BeastMasters, allowed to use our pets agaisnt the doppleganger?

I fail to comprehend the reason as to why we aren't allowed.

Good question, I would also like to know why. It's like beastmasters aren't even recognized as a class.

Ok, then why are there pets?
If you ask me, I'd say most of the petskills are crap like all many other skills.

I think the problem with beastmaster skills is there's no sign of what your pet does. When your pet uses like beastial pounce you can't tell whether it hit or not and whether or not your pet actually attempted the skill because they're generally surrounded by others (henchmen, tanks, etc.). Perhaps if there were some indiciator of the damage they did (like we get) or if the enchantments were displayed somewhere then people would be more likely to try a beastmaster build.

Its simple to tell.

You simply have to keep an eye on either the enemys hp, your pets hp, you enemy and your pet.

It's a simple matter of keeping your wits about you.
