Hopefully this is the right sub-forum for this, otherwise I leave it to you moderators to move it ^^.
Anyhow, Im saving up for a 62 platina guild hall with a friend of mine, which who Im about to start a guild.
Im up at 5 plat, and Im really not good a the buying-low-selling-high thing, so I just wondered:
Does anyone have any good tips for a good finance thingy? Such as farming routes, good loot monsters, items which are both common and valuable etc etc.
I have about 20 different runes and a LOT of max dmg weapons and stuff, but no one wants to buy anything either, anyone knows a good trade spot with lots of buyers?
I got two lvl20-guys, one ranger and one warrior, and I am at fire islands, so any town or outpost is available.
Thanks anyway, ^_ -
-(And this is my first post by the way, Hi everybody! )-
Finance tips, anyone?

I find farming objectionable (both boring and actively discouraged by the developers). I do think that trading can easily become boring. You may want to try running people places with your warrior for gold. You also may want to consider asking wealthy people exactly what they need. What would they pay more for? I, for example, have tons of gold, but am always looking for unusual things at good prices. If someone helps me find what I am looking for, I pay them a comission, tip, or finding fee.
Another sort of valuable thing that is pretty common is unIDed stuff. Because it unlocks stuff for PvP, even minor runes are valuable if you expert salvage them BEFORE you identify them and then sell them that way.

one thing i have found while not big adds up.
when you have a full load of loot from an area Kryta and above ID everything instead of just salvaging it
most of the time you will get back much more than the ID cost
go to a merchant to sell your full inventory and check the price before ID and after and you will never sell without IDing again
you may increase in value 1 gold a few times but mostly the increase will be anywhere from 5-more than 60 gold more on each item which adds up over time
get collectors items and armor instead of paying for it
dont spend anything for looks (unless it makes the game more fun for you)
i wont buy a hall until you can toggle the capes off and on
EDIT
i dont know if i qualify as a farmer or not as i enjoy going back to the more spectacular areas to look at the scenery and everything attacks me so i might as well profit from it
if my inventory is full i simply drop something for something better except for material i can sell later
