Dumb cd-key question

So I have the preorder box and all that jazz, is the key in there going to be my permanent key or will a different one come with the actual disks?

Sorry if it's been posted before...too lazy to search.

When you buy the retail game, a new key will be included.

So let me get this completely straight. This is the scenario:

I go to my EBgames and preorder a CE, and the employee gives me all that crap you need and everything. When the early access begins, I start playing. Then, on the 28th, I won't be allowed to play anymore. I have to go back to EB and get the retail cd and key. When I get home, I can still play my character the way it was in the early access.

Actually, no. You'll still be allowed to play all day the 28th using the pre-order key. However, sometime that day, you'll definitely want to run to the store and get the release key, because at midnight you'll have to enter it or your character will turn into a pumpkin... err, I mean, you'll have to enter the retail key or you won't be able to play anymore on the 29th. The 28th is a special day when you can play using either key.
