In book II of the GuildWars Manuscripts "The challenge", (aka the manual) if you look at the pages about each of the proffesions you can see that the shadows for some of the characters are the same, the ele's have the rangers shadows and the male mesmer has the male rangers shadow.
Its not really much...its just something I noticed.

Considering all the effort ANet put into the manual, where these days most companies don't even bother, I'll give them a pass on such an oversight. I enjoyed reading all the history and backstory in there... things that are certainly lacking in many games lately.

agreed with you, the manuscript is a great thing and i personally think it is written well with giving u a view of the game and yet not giving ne thing away. one mistake is fine...especially after all the flawless pages they have (flawless being mistake free, no grammatical errors..obviously)

Im not saying Anet did a crappy job or anything, I agree that all the history and lore is great, as I said, it was just something I noticed.
