fellblades..

do they have a specific drop place? i've farmed for a while now and i don't think i've seen one of these guys drop.

I think any late game area (desert and beyond) has a chance to drop them. I've seen more in the Ring of Fire islands than anywhere else. But that's just me personally.

What he said. Though I got my first in the FoW. Max damage too. To bad I didn't have a Sword Warrior. Found a Max damage hammer a little latter though.

Find all level 24+ monsters and kill them; however, there are a few specific level 24+ monsters that can't drop fellblades. If you have 5 or 6 good guild members who can clear fissure of woe fast, you will find alot of gold fellblades there. HoH chest used to be a good place to get good gold items, such as fellblades and crystalline swords...; it is too time-consuming to get there now.

Also I've been testing out a setup for UW soloing with my monk recently. Mostly killing smites, and I don't think these level24 smites can drop fellblades.

I've noticed that the job of the monster increases the chances of getting equipment of that type. So in the Ring of Fire, I would have to say that killing warrior-type monsters will give you the highest probablility of getting a fellblade.

I got a random fellblade drop from an Ice Imp. It sucks, but I don't care cause I use it only to get close to enemies (smiter).

I have gotten two. One was gold and max damage, req 9, +15% while in stance, from a tundra giant in iron mines mission (with a full party of henchmen). Other was max damage and blue from thirsty river.
