Pc On Gold Hammer

What would a Vampiric Ram's Hammer of Fortitude go for, 19-35dmg +12% health>50%, 5/1 vamp haft, and plus 29 health grip?
Interregnum
Normally I'd say salvage but there's 2 really nice mods in it.
The 5/1 hammer haft is 40-50k.
The 29 hp grip maybe 30k.
The hammer itself without the upgrades couldn't go for more than 4k.
Overall, maybe 40-50k on the hammer. Really depends on the req.

LOL That is what I don't get, he has a perfect mod and a near perfect mod on the same hammer. Seprately they are worth about 75K. But on the same hammer that hammer is somehow worth 4K (unless that was a typo)? People buy mods like that to make a hammer like that.
Sure the req does matter somewhat, but most guys are gonna max out for the most part anyways. But even at 13, that is a nice hammer.
IMO it is worth what the mods are worth or close to it. If it is a trendy looking one it might be worth 100K.
We all know people care more for looks than actual damage.

Well he also updated it to show it is only an 8 requirement, so that is "perfect" as well.
I guess I will never get how items are priced then. Other than the 12% enhanced damage, his hammer is near pefect.
I think the bottomline is, unless the items people are trying to sell or get pc's on are perfect in every way they are basically worth what people are willing to pay for them.
Basically a very nice item is almost uselss since the richest player who can afford them will want perfect, so 29 isn't good enough. So they will pay tousands of gold for that one extra point. On the other hand, someone who isn't that rich but can appreciate what there is available might not be able to afford it.
A very weird system, but the way it usually is. Some guys will pay 2-3 times the amount that this hammer has quoted at for an item nowhere near as good, but has a better look in the game.
I guess I figured that if a person had to but the two seperate mods to put on something then the items should be worth at least what those two mods would be worth seperately, plus the value of the base item.

I agree that it is strange, but it is the way the economy works.
