PrC: Unique Max Dmg Gold Mesmer Domination Cane w/ Cast Speed Mod

Could anyone give me an estimate on what this might be worth?

I am thinking it is worth a lot, for the following reasons:

1.) It has a cast speed mod for Domination, which is a popular Mesmer Attribute.
2.) There is NO 1-handed Mesmer weapon with speed increases for Domination available from collectors, or none that I was able to find.

I think this means that this cane would make the Mesmer using it into the Fastest Mesmer in the West, which has obvious attraction for a Mesmer interested in Domination in PvP (especially) and PvE.

So, I think it's a serious plat item. Please post your thoughts, let me know if you think I am crazy. Thanks!

that person has almost the exact mesmer cane as yours except the bonus energy and it's going for 7k currently. so my guess, your cane is probably worth 5k or less.

Thanks. That cane is different in that it is for Illusion Magic as well, not Domination - but I'm even less sure now of what it might mean.

Given that the cast speed is 1% off perfect (apparently) and that it applies to ALL skills (apparently) then is the Domination requirement even relevant?

His cane has a lower req. for use (9 Illusion). The dom req is relevant since you need to meet it to get full benefit from the mods and damage. I'd love to have your cane if you want to sell it. I'll give you 4.5k. Let me know if you are interested.

I would say 4.5k is in the right range. I have a totally different one for 6k b/o and no one wants it yet.
