Newbie Questions

Hey im new to guild wars and i have a few questions

1st what is the FoW and UW

2nd What does it mean when your character acsends, or when some1 says.. im am 2/3 the way to acsending

3rd Where do you get 15k armor

well im not that new .. i have a level 20 and ive explored all the map minus volcanic island

how can you have a level 20 and not know what Ascension is..what FoW or UW areas are...or where you get 15K armor? Did you pay attention at all during the game? I don't mean this post as flamebait...I just don't see how that's possible.

I don't get it either, if you've explored all the map (minus the "volcanic island"), then you would have been to Granite Citadel and Marhan's Grotto which are 2 places where you can get 15K armor. Also, the only way to get to Dragon's Lair is to ascend, isn't it??

1) FoW = Fissure of Woe UW = Underworld. You can locate both of these by going to the tmeple of the ages and talking with the spirits there when your area has favor. You have to be acsended to go.

2) Ascension happens after you beat your mirror image in the desert. Do all of the main missions and its impossible to miss.

3) 15k Armor can be found in FoW, Granite Citadel and Marhans Grotto

Next time please use the search feature as these have been gone over again and again.

you can have a runner run you there from beacons...at which point if you simply continued on you'd have absolutely no idea what ascension is or how to go about doing it...you would have essentially skipped 75% of the game.

Well he's obviously lying about something, but it's off topic and the questions have been answered.

nvm i found out about some stuff.. i just found out about FoW and UW now and that you need to have favor of the gods.. but im stuck on the 1st ascension quest.. you start in this little temple place with 3 ghost does any1 know what to do

Follow the direction they suggested and go to Elona Reach, Thirsty River, and Dunes of Despair, or simply join one of those running groups in Augury Rocks to get to that 3 missions. then complete those missions and return to the 3 ghosts area

So if he did explore what he claimed, then he would have known where to get at least the Citadel and Marhan 15K armors and have known about ascension. Granted maybe he went to Citadel and Marhan and not even look at the armor crafters (which I find unlikely due to him asking about 15K armor), but at least have known ascension.
