help

i just bought the pre-order a few days ago and i cant create and acount it just keeps saying connecting. do i have to wait until March 18th before i can create an account and character????

You should be able to create an account now, though if you try to log in, it will tell you that there is no event currently running. If you can't connect to the game to create an account, you might want to contact ArenaNet's support- there might be something configured wrong with your internet connection/router, or possibly a blocked port from your ISP that you might need to have them open up for you to play.

One thing: where is the game hanging up on "Connecting..."? Are you able to see the logon screen where you're prompted to enter a username and password and has the button to create an account, or are you hanging up earlier while trying to download the files for the game?

i get to the create an account and iu fill it out then when i click submit it just says connecting but never goes through

and the guy at the store said the weekend preview game test thing was everyweekend exept the first each month i guess he was wrong

he only got it backwards

it WAS only the 1st weekend of the month but has been changed to this

you can make your account at any time. you can only create a character during a beta event.
