Interrupting dazed enemies

i have a question, if i daze let's say an elementalist he becomes easily interrupted...ok so far so good but i wonder what is easily interrupted considered? For example if i am a ranger and i throw an arrow at him, will that interrupt him? Do i have to make a special attack or normal attacks do the trick?

I haven't tested it, but I'm 90% sure that's it. Ranger traps are 'easily interrupted' and can get stopped with a normal attack.
