Okay. I'm level seven and I've gotten my next set of clothing [ Still in the first part of the game. ]
After the two year gap and all that do you get more outfits later on?
or are you stuck with the same though the rest of the game?
Help please!

Later you'll be able to buy better armor (of course). The design won't change much, but you'll have different sets with different looks.
You'll also find what they call the 15k armor set. It has a different look and cost 15,000 gold per piece to buy (+ crafting materials).

Mr. Matt
In pre-searing you can only get two sets of armour; the one you start with, and the one you get from collectors.
Post-searing (after the Academy, or the 'two year gap') there are many new sets of armour. You can find these both at collectors and at armour crafters (who have an [ Armour ] tag after their name). Armour crafters will use crafting materials (which you must supply, as well as a fee) to create new armour for you, and you'll usually have a choice of two or three or so different kinds of armour at each crafter.
EDIT: Beaten?! Hogwash! I will have my revenge...

So yeah when you get to the 2 year gap what you can do is return to Ascalon and have the crafters make you new gear. I have a Monk/Warrior and the stuff i get is like 30 armor and +5 to energy. It was mostly bolts of clothe and planks of wood, but it was 150g per creation. (I purchased the wanderer set for added bonuses.) When I got to post searing I couldn't find any place for getting bolts of cloth, I kept gettting tanned hides. You might want to stock up on some basic crafting materials before moving up.

Good game posting all withink 5 minutes. haha.

Thank you all very much for your advice.
The reason why I asked this was because I want to eventually have
a whole set of silver armour. [ Yes, I know it's going to be expensive. ]
I wanted to make sure I didn't use up my dye on armour that I
wasn't going to use later on.

I think the best source of cloth in post-searing Ascalon is from the Grawl, Shamans in particular. There may be another source that I've forgotten though. If he's really desperate he could always buy extra materials from the Materials Trader, but yeah, saving any crafting materials you find in Pre-Searing is always a good idea. You can (usually) sell them for more at proper Materials Traders than you can at Merchants anyway.

tips:
Don't buy items for outrageous sums, check the merchants first to see if it really is a fair price you are getting.
Remmeber to buy bags when you get to Ascalon, and later on you can buy a bag rune to upgrade the storage on your bags to each carry 10 items each.
Use your storage for dye's and crafting materials.
If you plan on doing quests, dont buy new skills early on, as you get the same skills for quests.
If you get bored doing some quests, try the PVP areas
Doing a mission (SHEILD ICON ON MAP) boosts you further into the game.
aaand thats all the tips I remmebmer right now

Yeah dont rush/run especially if you need to pay and it's only your first character. Normally, if you're beginning, you don't have a lot of gold. So if you "run" you just reach a town with tough monsters that you can't beat or you can see items that you just can't afford.
BTW, this is just a general suggestion.

Another tip I would give you is to play nicely and be courteous to others. There are a number of players who give free items to beginners. I for one give nice weapons, oftentimes with mods to characters/people I have fun playing with.

All excellent advice, so I'll just add that you should take a look at the stupid things I've done thread
(lots of spoilers in there though..)
