Whats up with people?

I have just acquired my first set of upgraded leggings but clicked exchange twice so ended up with an extra pair, anyway I decided rather then sell them to the npc I will see if I can help someone else by giving them to them (and hopefully make a friend by doing so) i walk up to any warrior that I see who isn’t wearing the leggings for them all to just ignore me , so i thought i will try using the all channel and see if anyone is interested (I said something like "bought second pair of warrior leggings by mistake does anyone want them for free?") to watch another tumbleweed blow past - I found this very peculiar as with me coming from mmo's like WoW if you say anything with the word free in it you get a flurry of whispers begging for the item, anyway i decided to npc them but just before i did i thought I should try once more, this time in my haste I typed "Selling pair of warrior leggings does anyone need them" to have 3 whispers to in offering 20 - 30 and even 40 gold for them, after that I thought to my self, why the hell did no one want them when they were free but as soon as i was selling them I got an instant response, anyone else find that this has happened to them?

Im confused I thought your armor was just as customized as your weapon and it was no good to anyone else? Maybe Im wrong?

all armor is customized to you so nobody else will be able to use it

sell it or salvage it EDIT to the merchant not a player

nice thought though

non customized items weapons shields wands etc can be given

armour is crafted just for you,other people cant wear it.

Ah didnt know i couldnt sell customized armours but that still doesnt explain why when it was free i got no whispers but as soon as i was selling i got three

Good gesture, but I'm actually surprised no one called you a scammer for selling armor. Even more surprised some actually were willing to buy it! Well, I guess we all got to start somewhere.
