MISSING: Barradin's Estate
darkMishkin
I spent quite a wile trying to find my way to the Barradin Estates after the searing to see if everyone was ok (!), and was a little disappointed to find it had disappeared from the map.
I'll give anyone who can find it for me 2 pieces of gold.

It's not there. There's a big Charr crystal in the middle of it now. If you go to see Gate Guard Hollis and then head south from there, you can see a few of the estate's water canals, but that's it.
Jetai12
where did the sanitarium come from, i always thought that was barradins, but ive never been to the sanitarium
King's Spectre
I think one of my favorites is the big crystal that landed near the mesmer stage, flipping it like a coin. Those Charr Engineers are pretty good shots!

The sanitarium is of course Ashford Abbey, though the catacoumbs have been lost now too...

Iv'e always wondered where the catacombs went! They should add that to post-searing.
Lorelei
They replaced it with Underworld

I was always very disapointed that even the mountains where Foble's Fair once were are now gone. I was hoping to get to it via mineral springs but no.
Did all of those mountains just disintigrate? Why can't we get to them?

I always assumed Piken Square was Barradin's Estate, or else just a new city where the old people of Barradin's went to.

Read the storyline.

Remember, the searing was a cataclysmic event, thereby completely changing the face of the landscape. And the Catacombs aren't missing, they've become the Isle of the Dead Guild Hall(just don't ask me how they moved onto an island from way inland).

If there's one thing I really miss it's the catacombs. That was one of my favorite places to be in Pre-Sear; there were some really beautiful areas down there if you knew where to go. I think they shoulda left some of the back entrances open so you could still go in if you wanted to.
And yeah, Althea's stage flipped up on end is really really awesome to see.

King's Spectre
I also like the devourer cave after the searing. Looks like people tried to live there for awhile but the devourers levelled-up and got the better of them..
Tactical-Dillusions
You really think if Anet opened up the catacombs that they won't add level 29's down there?
Sorry, but you will not be farming dye this time around.
It would be nice to have it opened though.

Besides, the Catacombs have caved in, how would you get around them.
