Yes, I want a gigantic level 28 pet that can own entire teams if they don't have an interrupter.
We don't have new pets because nobody uses the existing ones. How many times do you see a pet that's not a wolf or a spider? Heck, how many times do you see a pet at all?

Pets became obsolete esp. doing the final missions. i wish the DEVS would do something about pets so they will become useful again.

yeah they got infusion, but still you cannot control them. The ranger will pull a small group of enemy away from the whole horde but the pet will come rushing and surely it will die. do some pulls again, the same thing will happen. it keeps on dying, so i find them no use in doing the last few missions. just wasted 2 skill slots. As a W/R I always want them on my side as additional damage dealer. I hope there will be commands for pets

And yes you do see people without a Wolf and a Spider, I for one have a Bear level 20 and in the desert I was with different people each mission and each time the rangers had a Melandru's Stalker. My friend has a Lynx level 20 so don't say you never see a pet that's not a Spider or Wolf.
And to the OP just be glad ArenaNet gave us Rangers pets, be happy with what you've got. If you played a non-ranger class would you then complain about how rangers get pets and you don't?

I hate my friend's ranger pet (a cougar or panther?). It keeps sh*tting in my shield when I'm not looking.

Its not a pig. its a warthog and its not a Bird its a special Moa Bird (or codenamed Strider :O) .
Anyway, I agree on more pets, and I would love to see every pet having its own special attacks (multiple
). But not uber giga super pets which rule everything. We got enough other problems that needs fixin :P.

they are putting more pets in the expansion i just hope they make the pets more powerful with better ai and add ALOT of gold sinks in expansion

i can take my dad car or my bro its no problem i race with freinds in front of the house no 1 care in uae if a child driving .
and about the pet 5 or 8 only three more kinds dude dont u like more petsabout 100 pet u can get crazy with 100 pet u dont now wich 1 u whant and u whant to see people with a cooler pets .

As for the discussion... All I want is some bloody stats or more obvious differences between the pets (besides graphically). I'm fine with what we have now, honestly, I doubt we need many/any more pets.

Although I think we need to make pets more varied. How about a pet that can heal you for small amounts of health? Or a pet that can attack from range?

i want there to be more varity to pets and more of a ability to control them: i like the spiders as a pet but id prefer a crystal spider like thoes in the dragons lair or a large moss sider. maybe a mini winged dragon would be cool, or a bat, or something fun like a gairrafe or a rhino
