Hi all,
Noob Question here How does it work when you hire someone to run you to Droknar. Im a lvl 18 and dont get to play much 5-10hrs a week if lucky
Do you have to stay alive to make it or if you die do you show up in droknar Once the runner gets there? Id like to get there before Anet Nerfs That to.

you do not have to stay alive.....the fact that you are rushing droknar your first time through the game is somewhat pathetic though.

the fact that anyone runs it is sad. period.

You skip half the game that way. You should just ascend your way there.

Yup it is pathetic but when you have to work 60-70 hrs a week and go to school youll know what I mean. when I start my second char Ill go all the way tho I promise I wiil go the ascend way

I will never understand paying 50 bucks for a game you never intended to play...regardless of how many hours a week you have to work.
You're welcome. Enjoy the Game =)

This game has an expansion coming out next year. No need to rush

Just trying to be practical.... I don't think Dorknar's (spelling intentional) is where you want to rush to. Dorknar's is post-ascension. It won't get you into HoH or ToA. The only reason to rush there is to get the armor, the highest in the game. You've probably heard that.
If you're going to rush, get someone to take you to Sanctum's Cay, which get's you on the ascension path. Once you're ascended you can get into areas of the game where the good drops increase and, of course, the Guild competitions.
In answer to your question, though... When you hire a runner, you die, and the runner runs to the next portal which pulls your whole party through.

I agree with the fact that running is lame.
And believe me working and college are stuff lots of GW players deal with.
I work from 9 to 6, im finishing my carreer, i take care of my home and friends, and i have almost my 3rd char ascended with all quests, missions and bonus done.
Gaming takes time, but if that time is used efficiently you can achieve it in no time.
Plus the game has a nice plot to offer.

I ran there.... after I already beat the game.
Since I already beat the game, beat almost every quest, and have every single town, running there with a new char isn't a bad thing. I ran there, not for the armor, but to tame a bear as my new pet at lvl 11.
