I hear a lot of complaints about nerf this and nerf that... it never crossed my mind, until now, that when you post really good 'farming' spots, that the guys use that information and 'nerf' the spot...
I am really NOT being sarcastic... but if you find a nice place, would it stay that way if you did not BRAG about it to everyone, if we kept the nice farming spots quiet, would they take them away from us?
Just want some thoughts on this... maybe tell your guild buds through email or anywhere NOT associated with guild wars, and the good spot would stay that way for a much longer period of time.
Just a thought...

they answer questions and make anouncements here so i guess they read what is here as well
also about 35 other big and small sites as well if i remember a comment correctly
and i did not mention a hint of where i got my double drops of black/silver and silver/silver to play safe but i am only getting red and blue with some purp/grn lately

actually, just looking at their logs should tell them if a particular zone is being harvested

no. they could care less if you post where you are farming in the forums. By the time you make the video edit the video add the music and write your post....they're already fully aware of where you have been farming...

here's the situation :
a) devs say they nerf because of the bots
b) some players say the devs nerf because they want to balance the game between hardcore players and occasional players
about posting farming locations on forums : you will inform just everyone that there is a good place to farm, including hardcore players AND bot users

The Devs read the forums because there can be excellent ideas for gameplay enhancements. But for nerfing, I am sure they look at their logs, and see a consistent pattern to identify the bots.

ok, definitely new to the BOT thing, wtf? maybe it is good that i have not heard of this... what is the deal with these things, people? a short explanation if you have a moment, please....

they are a type of program which moves the player around and kills loads of things in the 'farming' spots while the player sleeps...
thats just a simple explantion and im sure someone else will go into more detail, but thats about it.

Its a robot that sits at someone's computer and plays all day for them, so they get all kinds of nice stuff while they are sleeping/at work/doing other stuff.
