ok i was in a UW group the other day, and someone told me that if you use fire on smite crawlers, the ectoplasm will burn up and you wont get any, now this sounds stupid to me, is there any chance this is true??

It doesnt sound like anything i've seen applied in this game in other circumstances.

if what you said is true shadow, the only way to get any item would be to poison their environment til they die out THEN take everything as loot :P

Smites use Zealot's Fire...their whole bodies just burn away so they never drop anything

hey i heard something, from a highranked guild, gwen is in underworld and so is a armor crafter, and you know how gwens flute is outside of sardelac or her cape is well if u bring her her cape and flute she like gives u something i heard.
sounds stupid but why else would they place her cape and flute in the game after searing?

So why put these items in the game? To arrouse rumors and keep people hunting for something that either doesn't exist or will exist at a later time.
