Farming Necro?

We have all seen the famous Griffon Run done by W/Mo and Mo/W. I was pondering necro skills and came up with this build for farming:

1-Animate Bone Minions
2-Death Nova
3-Necrotic Transversal
4-Putrid Explosion
5-Taste of Death
6-Well of Suffering
7-Well of Power (e)
8-Shadow of Fear

This is all theoretical and very temporary, but here is the strategy. kill first devourer, animate bone minions, rinse repeat. Create army large enough to surround you. Do the run attracting all the griffons. Use shadow of fear to reduce damage output as needed. Either focus fire and create one corpse or kill a minion (cast death nova on it first) with taste of death then do necrotic transversal/putrid explosion to poison whole group. If Minions are already low on life use first corpse for well of power. Continue creating corpses and exploiting to make either more minions or any of the available death skills. With all but 2 skills, shadow of fear (which really doesn't need any points invested) and well of power, in death magic, death magic could be maxed. Blood magic could be maxed as well for well of power. Maybe a N/Me would work for the enrgy regeneration skills. Some of the skills I have listed are very interchangeable (ie necrotic transversal) and are interchangeable with skills that could keep the minions alive in the initial gathering (maybe a N/Mo with heal area) but well of power should be sufficient.
Like I said this is untested and I only got this idea by browsing the skills list. It sounds doable, I was just looking for some feedback from my much wiser comrades.

An N/Me with channeling would keep energy problems to a minimum...though if you're focused on by more than one or 2 griffins then you might be screwed

With no curses, shadow of fear is NOT worth that much to you as a mobbing skill.

The key to farming is mass murder and I'd probably take Virulence with this build to help augment. I don't see this build lasting well at all should even 2 griphons jump on it and start using Final Thrust.

My W/N farms griphons all the time with minos ganking throughout and even then, I may die... ;_;

Isn't there a Mesmer spell that lets you dodge attacks 75% of the time but you lose x energy? That would be a useful spell to put in there if you're going N/Me.

EDIT: Its diversion...a 0 cast time stance that you just need to reputup every 5 seconds for 5 mana...would be really useful imo.

I was thinking that the massive army you would have (animate bone minions creates 2 per corpse) from killing the small mobs of minotaurs would be sufficient to absorb the damage if you stayed in the middle. The minions would absorb damage while you throw around all the AOE. But that shows how much i know about builds.
I have tried farming with my W/N once or twice and it didn't work real great (mark of pain did awesome damage but i couldn't stay alive long enough). I was thinking about using that elite leech skill that gives life each time you hit but the problem is you wouldn't have mending to keep you alive until then. How do you do it?
