Everyone seems to be teleporting instead of running.

I tried re-installing the game, used spyware check, used virus check... nothing... works.

My guild wars used to run very smoothly.

Now, everyone is teleporting instead of running.

I put my settings to lowest, and it didn't help.

The wierd thing is, I didn't even reinstall the windows... It just suddenly is hapenning out of blue.

If anyone can help, Thanks in advance!

sounds like a Lag issue. how is your internet connection other than Guild Wars...are you getting bumped often? do webpages take longer to load?

run a speedometer test

check to make sure you're getting good FPS.

right click your GW icon on the desk top and select Properties.
Find the bar that says "Target" and add "-perf" to it after all the text. (don't edit anything inside the quotes)

I was having this same problem, or one suspiciously like it. Reinstalling didn't help, so I went and unplugged my router and DSL modem, and voilĂ ! Problem fixed.

At the very least, it can't hurt.

Edit: voilĂ ! Problem's back. A bit more info below.

It could be your Video(Graphics) Card. The same thing was happening to me, I mean laggy on the lowest settings. Anyway my brother replaced the video card with another one(same specs) and it worked perfectly on medium settings. Also your driver settings may be telling it to output at a higher level than its capaable which could cause some problems(also happened to me), so you should check that.

And now, my problem's back too. Looks like unplugging the modem is a temporary fix at best.

Everything suggests it's a network issue: my temporary solution, and the fact that neither of us had installed any software or had any previous skipping trouble. The fact is that the game still looks great, but monsters and characters reposition themselves seemingly at random.

seraphesy, you aren't by any chance living in Eastern Canada? It's been suggested to me that it might be an ISP or regional issue.
