Pet naming question

After you named a pet, is there any commands to switch it back to the default "Hearty Lynx" so that when it levels, it's name will auto change to "Playful Lynx" etc?

Just type "/petname <whatever>" or "/namepet <whatever>".

lol.. Erm, I know how to change the name, I just want to know is there anyway to switch it back to the default name that auto changes..

not that I know of. I believe that once you change you pets name you loose the ability to ever find out what "evolution" it is on. Even if you changed it back to what it originally was called, you'd still never see the "evolution".

Only solution is to not name your pet till it's got the final evolution *shrugs*

I kind of wish we could see the pet stats somehow. besides what the lev is. like the Ctrl click option or something... See Evolution, infused, Att Def AC ratings. basically added to your hero screen would be nice. just an idea. not something I expect, but it would be a nice option. I'm sure it has been mentioned before... To answer your question I have never seen a way to go back once you use the namepet command. and that goes for new pets as well, as it remembers it even after turning it into the tamer,. and getting a new one.
